If this can be done I would really appreciate some help. I will then attempt to clone only the OS from the HDD into the 256 GB SSD. I am familiar with Macrium Reflect, since I have cloned several other drives, the difference is that the occupied capacity of the HDD never exceeded the total capacity of the SSD so I would just clone the thing completely and then just use the HDD as extra storage, or for specefic things.Ĭan this even be done? Right now I am making a full clone into a 1TB SSD of the 1TB HDD, but this will only serve as a backup, since the 1TB SSD must be used for something else.

I bought a 256 GB SSD (what I can afford) and I want to clone only the OS into it. Hard Drives: 1-970 Evo Plus M.I have an HDD with 1 TB capacity and ~750 GB occupied.
